Themed CPC Day Marked by Red-Banners

On June 26, a group of Red-Banners gathered at a PLA barracks to mark a CPC Day and 70th anniversary of the founding of PRC, at which CPC Red-Banners reviewed their oaths and enjoyed a celebration.

Company 8, PLA has been recognized for years for its glorious tradition and contribution to Shanghai development. Wu Xinghu, its political instructor, delivered a speech on how a motive force derived from company's tradition which was appreciated by the Red-Banners coming for the day. Red-Banners popular respectively in 60s, 70s and 80s of last century shared with the participants their personal stories in remaining true to their original aspiration and keeping their mission firmly in mind. A grouping project was initiated at the event, in which 20 Red-Banners were coupled together to learn from each other and help each other. Li Yanling, president of the Red-Banners Society addressed that we were Red-Banners and CPC members as well, which were both honors and responsibilities.

On the eve of the CPC birth day, Red-Banners visited PLA soldiers and enjoyed a gathering among themselves. The coming group visited an exhibition for the company and extended their gratitude to PLA soldiers for their contribution to the progress of the city.

SWF Vice Chairperson Weng Wen-Lei, Li Yanlin, president of the Red-Banners Society and Liu Guohua, director of the Political Affairs Dept. PLA attended the program together with more than 50 Red-banners and staff.
