Office Workers Trained for Improveing Skills

According to requests by the City Division of CPC, Shanghai Women's Federation (SWF) arranged its training from June 27 to 29 for its staff working in general offices.

About 38 office workers attended the training course at Shanghai University for Engineering and Technology in Songjiang District.

At the opening ceremony, Ge Yingming, vice chairperson of SWF, Peng Chaobo from Workers Union Division attached to Shanghai Educational Commission and Liu Rurong from the University made speeches.

A group of professionals from All-China Women's Federation, Shanghai University of CPC, Shanghai University for Engineering and Technology and Research Center attached to the City Government made presentations respectively on Xi's thoughts on women advancement in the new era, vista for Shanghai economic and social development, the 3rd plenary session for the 13th CPC Congress and open up for socialist road with the Chinese characteristics and elements to doing government invited researches. Presentations were informative and interesting which were well received by the participants.

During the training, office workers went to visit a couple of sites for woman farmers to start their business and the Flying School of Shanghai University for Engineering and Technology.

As an assignment from the training, office workers were asked to do questionnaire design which would be used for the later research.
