A training course was held at the
school for women cadres on June 22, for the new Board of Executives attached to
Shanghai Women's Federation.
Xu Feng, chairperson
of SWF made an orientation for the course and gave a presentation on the 13th "Five-Year
Agenda for Advancement of Women and Children" afterwards.
Huang Qi, Su Rong, vice chairpersons of SWF
and Ji Jingxiang, the former chairperson of Yangpu Sub-Women's Federation gave
talks on their personal experience while working for SWF.
Huang shared her story in shifting a focus on case
studies related with legal protection of her clients to law-inauguration
involvement, so as to protect women and children's legal rights from being
deprived at the first step. Su shared her story in clearing off disputes among
residents via a sociological approach. Ji shared her story in completing
projects in benefit of women and children via a close connection with the main
mission of the government and a combination of social resource available. All their
credibility of persistence and management impressed the Board newly elected,
who were interacted with speakers after the class in groups.
It was reported that The Board made up of 121, is the
leading body for SWF when the congress isn't in session. It is also the main
strength for implementing her five-year mission issued at the Congress. The
training would last for three days to be followed respectively on June 26 and
July 6, 2018 and it was designed to help the Board to gain a better
understanding of SWF and prepare themselves ready to get involved in SWF
mission and play a unique role in service of the local economic and social
development and advancement of women and children.
